One of the best and most economical ways to improve your suspension performance is to replace worn factory rubber bushings with these harder Delrin style polyurethane bushings.
Factory rubber bushings are soft and can give under load causing the suspension components to bind. As our little cars approach their 40 year anniversary, these bushings are simply worn out (measure the difference on the bushing between the top and the bottom of the rear control arm shaft to see how bad yours are).
Many of these bushings sold in the past have been the softer (94A) compound. These harder (70D) bushings are the perfect hardness to provide quick and precise control for the rear control arms on your teener. These bushings, when installed properly, are free floating and non-binding which allows the suspension to work smoothly.
